I'm digging up some fresh job leads for you.  But meanwhile, I saw this and thought it sounded yummy. Ingredients:1 1/4 c. flour1 tbsp. baking powder2 tsp. brown sugar, packed1/2 tsp. salt1/3 c. shortening1 egg1/2 c. mashed, cooked sweet potatoes2 tbsp. milkDirections: Mix together and roll out to 1/2 inch thickness. Michael Phelps and Olympic Fever at Our House

We're still on vacation, but we're keeping up with the Olympics.  And since my daughter is a swimmer, we've definitely got Michael Phelps fever.  It was so exciting to watch him blow the competition in the pool away last night.My daughter swims with several people who made it to the Olympic Trials this year, one even making it to the finals in her event. Why No Vacation Pics?

I had promised to try to post some vacation pics this week.  But as luck would have it, not a one of my three daughters brought the cord that connects their digital cameras to the computer for upload.  I definitely need to get my own camera. We're at Emerald Isle on the NC coast.  It's been extremely hot this week, but it's supposed to cool off this weekend.  I'm keeping my fingers crossed.  There's a giant deck on top of the beach house, so we set an umbrella and fan up on it, and that's where we've been hanging out during the hottest part of the day. At night, it's so dark out here, you can see the stars in...
