If You Hate Your Job and My Zen Compromise

For those who read my post last week, when I was trying to decide whether or not to work on vacation any - I did decide to take a little transcription work.  It was just too stressful to know there was no money coming in while I'm away.

But I did ask my very understanding supervisor for small chunks at a time with an extended turnaround, so I wouldn't be forced to work at a time when everybody else was having a blast on the beach or going somewhere fun.  I'm still getting my zen moment in the sun, but I'm not as worried about what comes after.

And appropriate to this subject - I love my job.  But if you don't, read Jennifer Derrick's What to Do When You Hate Your Job at SavingAdvice.com.  Because there's nothing more stressful that a job you absolutely hate.
