I had promised to try to post some vacation pics this week. But as luck would have it, not a one of my three daughters brought the cord that connects their digital cameras to the computer for upload. I definitely need to get my
own camera.
We're at Emerald Isle on the NC coast. It's been extremely hot this week, but it's supposed to cool off this weekend. I'm keeping my fingers crossed. There's a giant deck on top of the beach house, so we set an umbrella and fan up on it, and that's where we've been hanging out during the hottest part of the day.
At night, it's so dark out here, you can see the stars in a way you can't back home. We go up on the deck and watch the sky for hours. My brother and I saw some flaming meteors the night before last. We're excited that we'll be down here for the Perseid meteor shower next week. Hope you all are having a great week!
