Westat Data Collection Services hires at-home workers to administer questionnaires over the telephone. These questionnaires are usually in English. But they also have a need for Spanish, Mandarin, Cantonese, Vietnamese, and Korean speakers. English speaking data collectors start at $8.25 an hour. Bilingual (English/Spanish) speakers start at $10.25 an hour. Data collectors receive an additional $2 per hour on weekends.
You must be a good communicator, be able to follow Westat's script, and have moderate computing skills. Your work environment must be quiet during scheduled hours. You must have the ability to be both on the Internet and on the phone at the same time. You must obtain a corded telephone with a hands-free/corded headset.
