How to Create a MySpace Layout

MySpace by far is one of the most famous and spectacularly popular social networking site and blogging entertainment and almost everything rolled into one. It still remains on top of the Google search engines too. They have very customizable screens. How this works is, we have a login account created with the help of an email ID. Then we customize our pages and put in whatever we feel we need to show the world to, whichever content we feel is good enough to be put in.
Any body logging will have to create a Myspace layout so that the content is displayed in a desired manner by the web page.

Steps To Create Myspace Layout:

. First create an account
. Login to your pages and add some content, blogs etc which ever you feel like.
. Then go to Profile Editor and click on the Edit tab.
. Now we can see variety of options including Background images, layouts, Images to be added, space for text etc.
. Now we can use whatever is currently in resource in Myspace, tabulations, color etc.
. After selecting whatever we need we can save the settings.
. Whenever someone or we login to our screen to check what we are displaying the layout will have been what we selected in profile editor.

Not only these but in internet we have lots many Myspace Layouts and which individual programmers or free layouts created by websites are available. We can use them to upload to our login. It's as simple as that.

How to Get Rid of Ants: Yes, Spring is Here!

Spring is officially here. How do I know? It's not the robins hopping about on my front lawn. It's not the ginormous wasp I chased out of my car today. It's the annual trail of ants across my kitchen counter tops. They are the bane of my existence every year from March until - I can't remember when they disappear, but I think it's not until fall.

At any rate, the little buggers make my life miserable. I've tried bug sprays, keeping the counter tops clean of all crumbs - you name it, and I've tried it. So I Googled "kill ants" today and found the following advice, some of which is downright sadistic:

Kind options:

  • If ants enter the house through a window, put chalk around the window frame.
  • Sprinkle ground or powdered chili where the ants commonly enter.
  • Ants hate vinegar. So make a spray of vinegar combined with water and spray around where they enter.
  • I don't know about this one. Sounds like it could cause more problems than it might solve. But I'll offer it anyway: place a jar of open honey up a tree, away from the house, and leave it there all summer.
Not so kind, somewhat sadistic options (if you really, really HATE ants, and have a personal vendetta against them):

  • Locate the ant mound and pour boiling water over it. Problem solved.
  • Soak pipe tobacco in warm water, then pour the liquid over the anthill. The ants overdose on the nicotine and die.
  • Put baby powder on the ant trail. If the ants come into contact with it, they will die.
  • Put uncooked Cream of Wheat out where the ants can get to it. They will eat it, expand, and - well, you get the picture.
Now I don't personally have anything against ants. They're just doing what ants do. So I'll try the kinder, gentler options first. But if they don't clear out by May, I'm not making any promises. Here's a link to a very funny and related cartoon by Stephen Pastis.

Do You Have Momnesia?

Finally they've given it a name. You know what I'm talking about. You walk out of the mall and can't remember where you parked your car. Or worse, you get in your car and can't remember where you're going.

Or the very worst: you call someone on the phone, and before they can pick up, you forget who it is you're calling and what you're calling about. It's called "Momnesia," and according to scientists, it's the perfectly normal result of sleep deprivation combined with the most stressful job in the world, raising children.

Parenting is a high-stress job that requires complete focus. According to Babies Can Cause Momnesia in USA Today, "stress, sleep deprivation, and postpartum hormonal swings are definitely mind-altering." Scientists feel it's that combination of circumstances, along with a built-in biological factor that causes this mind fuzziness. Because face it, if our memories of childbirth were vivid, we might choose not to repeat the experience.

But there is good news. Much of this brain fog clears up by the time a woman enters perimenopause. So maybe I won't need to write my name and address on a piece of paper and carry it in my pocket.

Suddenly, a whole world of online possibilities has opened up to him, both good and bad. I'm proud of him for rolling with the times though.

How are Your Children Like a Garden?

I came across this great article today by HappyNews columnist Craig Harris. It's Parenting Lessons from Gardening, and it really struck a chord with me. He uses gardening as a metaphor for parenting, and points out the very really similarities between the two.

Most importantly, he reminds us that a neglected garden will be choked by weeds, just as our children can be pulled down by bad influences. This is especially crucial as children enter adolescence. Take the time to read it. It will be time well spent.

What's in Your Child's Drinking Water?

An Associated Press investigation recently revealed the presence of a multitude of drugs, including antibiotics, sex hormones, anticonvulsants, and mood stabilizers in the drinking water of 41 million Americans. Although the concentrations were tiny, scientists are worried about what the consequences might be for the public.

Most alarming in CNN's article on the subject, Prescription Drugs Found in Drinking Water Across the U.S., is the fact that the federal government doesn't require testing to detect drugs in our water, and has set no limits as to what's acceptable.

Use a 13 X 9-inch pan. Heat the oven to 350 degrees for a shiny metal or glass pan, 325 for a dark non-stick pan. Grease and flour pan. Make cake mix as directed on the box, using water, oil, egg whites, and 1 1/2 tsp mint extract. Take out one cup of batter and mix in three drops of green food coloring. Pour remaining batter into the pan. Drop green batter into the pan by the spoonful, 12 to 14 spots. Cut through batter with a knife or spatula, making S-shaped curves in one continuous motion. Bake 28 to 32 minutes. Cool one hour. Spread fudge topping over the cake. In a medium-sized bowl, stir the whipped topping and remaining 1/2 tsp of extract. Add 9 drops of green and 5 drops of yellow food coloring. Blend. Spread whipped topping over fudge evenly, and garnish with candy pieces. Store covered in refrigerator. Enjoy!

Robert Bly has written a great article on making big money as a freelance writer. It's 10 Ways to Make a 6-Figure Income as a Freelance Writer. If you're serious about being making a living as a writer of any sort, this article will inspire you. Robert himself made $500,000 last year freelancing full time.

My favorite tip is #3: Value Your Time. He says, "You can always make more money, but time is a non-renewable resource." And he's right. Too often, we undervalue our time, selling it too cheaply.
