Qualifications
• High school diploma or general education (GED); or 3 years experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) credentialed by the American Health Information Management Association is required.
• Knowledge of Coding Compliant Editor 3M Grouper (CCE), Essentris Electronic medical record per patient. Out of State remote coder codes from iCODE application.
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists.
