Primary Responsibilities (from job ad):
• Develop original healthcare content - questions and answers (Q&A) across multiple healthcare and medical topics and specialties targeted to the healthcare consumer. Must ensure succinct and concise tie-in between questions and answers.
• Repurpose and adapt partner content (web content, books, video), translating and developing Q&As (matching voice, style, and tone of source material).
• Review medical journals, books, and health care-related electronic media content to development informative, accurate, and engaging Q&As to captivate readers.
• Ensure content is consistent with overall content strategy and meets Sharecare Style Guide and editorial policies and guidelines.
• Must be able to interact effectively with internal teams (i.e. editorial, publishing, and account management) to ensure quality and smooth progression of projects.
Primary Skills and Critical Competencies (from job ad):
• Have extensive experience writing healthcare content for consumer audiences.
• A written track record of excellent writing skills, including sourcing and citation.
• Have an excellent understanding of a variety of medical conditions and diseases and the healthcare industry.
• Possess experience in web writing using natural language; have a full understanding of keywords, meta description, meta tags.
• Must possess excellent project management skills and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced work environment
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written.
• Be experienced in MS Excel; proficient in MS Word.
• Familiarity with adult learning principles and experience in health and patient education a plus.
