Work-at-Home: Freelance History Writer for Cengage Learning

Cengage Learning is seeking freelance writers to work from home producing World History content for undergraduate courses.  This is a contract position.  Job requirements (from ad):

The ideal candidate will have:

- Master's degree in History

- Current, or recent, experience teaching undergraduate World History courses with a concentration in Latin American, Asian, or African culture and history

- Ability to write creative and engaging homework questions, answers, and explanations

- Broad and current knowledge/experience in World History

- Excellent knowledge of grammar and command of the English language

- Top-notch written and oral communication skills

- At least 20 hours of availability per week

- IBM compatible PC, or the ability to run a dual boot Windows/OSX operation environment
