Well, I finally solved "my" problem with feeds not updating on my iGoogle home page. I thought it was just my Work at Home Mom Revolution feed. But it was actually all of my feeds. I just assumed a lot of people were on vacation this week. (Yes, I was a little slow on the draw there.) Here's the fix that solved it for me. If you're also having this difficulty, it might work for you. I found it at the iGoogle Support page:
Reverting to the most recent backup may fix your problem. To revert, visit http://www.google.com/ig/settings
Click the "Restore Now" button at the bottom of the page. This will restore an earlier version of iGoogle. You then must hit the refresh button. Ta-da! Hope this works for those of you having difficulty.
Unfortunately, I'm also having this issue on My Yahoo homepage. I'll have to get to work on that.
