Join Dr. Susan Love's Army of Women

 

My mother passed away in 1987 at the young age of 44, and for years, I've been haunted by the fact that her death was preventable. What a difference her presence would have made in my life and the lives of my daughters.  She passed just two-and-a-half months before my daughter, her first grandchild, was born. I often lie awake at night wondering how my life might have been different had she lived.

I hope scientists find a cure for cancer in my lifetime, but I pray they find it during my daughters' lifetimes.  So I recently signed up to help in what little way I can.  I invite you to join me.

The Dr. Susan Love Research Foundation is partnering with the Avon Foundation in an effort to recruit one million women willing to take part in research to learn more about breast cancer and hopefully find a cure.  It is important for research to include not only patients, but also healthy women.  Visit Dr. Susan Love's website and join me in the Army of Women.
