I know a lot of people are getting snow right now. One of my favorite memories of childhood is my mom making snow cream on the rare occasions we actually got snow. For best results, the snow needs to be fluffy. Wet snow will result in a slushy mess. Enjoy!
INGREDIENTS:
- 1-3 C. clean snow
- 1/2 C. whipping cream or other cream of choice
- 1 T. sugar
- 2-3 drops vanilla flavoring
PREPARATION:
Keep snow cold until ready to use. In a large bowl, mix cream, sugar and vanilla. Slowly add snow to desired consistency. Some recipes use raw egg, but due to the risk of salmonella, this is not a good idea.
