Work at Home Medical Writers for About.com

About.com, a subsidiary of the New York Times, is seeking licensed medical professionals (doctors, nurses, health educators) with writing experience to cover a number of topics, including colon cancer, leukemia, lymphoma, muscular dystrophy, podiatry, schizophrenia, and urology.  You must have a friendly, yet informative, voice as you provide insight into the causes, diagnosis, symptoms, and treatment of conditions.

You'll create content, be responsible for maintaining your own blog, and you will act as a community leader in a discussion forum.  This is a freelance position.  You set your own schedule, and you can work from anywhere in the world.  Compensation is based on page views.  All About.com Guides make a minimum of $725 per month in their first two years, and the average guide makes $1,000.  To learn more, visit the About.com Be a Guide page.  Good luck!
