When you work for yourself, you can take time off whenever you like. Right? Being your own boss sometimes means working more during the holidays, when others are taking more time off. After all, you will be the one paying the piper if, in the end, your clients are disappointed, or you don't meet a deadline.
When you work for yourself, there's no passing the buck. I know that I, personally, won't be taking much time off during the holidays. I can't afford to make less money during one of the most expensive times of the year. How about you?
