It doesn't seem that long ago that I camped out all night at a local area church in the hopes of getting my twins into a good preschool program (actually 14 years ago). I remember how desolate I was when one twin made the number cutoff, but the other got put on a waiting list.
I then had a choice. Wait and see if the other twin moved up to a spot in the program, but risk having nowhere for them to go if that didn't happen, or start looking all over again. I chose to start looking all over again.
And luckily, a friend of mine had recently heard someone raving about her child's preschool. Turns out it was a small church preschool out in the country. The child to teacher ratio was small, and the atmosphere was happy and loving. It was a perfect fit. And best of all, they had room.
Even though my preschool search turned out better than I could have hoped, I remember it as a stressful decision. I found an informative article today that might help give parents some direction in their search, so I had to share. It's 5 Tips to Help Parents Pick the Best Preschool at Today. Check it out!
