I've been following the recent news lately regarding plastic bottles and Bisphenol A, or BPA, the chemical found in hard, clear polycarbonate products. This includes plastic baby bottles and the bottled water many of us buy at the grocery store.
One of my teenage daughters carries one with her continuously, taking a sip every 30 minutes or so. Another one takes bottled water with her to swimming practice every day. So the more I read, the more convinced I am that we should throw out the bottled water entirely.
Recent studies in the U.S. revealed BPA in the blood or urine 95% of people tested and demonstrated a link between BPA and a host of illnesses, including obesity.
