Telecommute Freelance Medical Writer and Researcher

A boutique clinical affairs consulting firm specializing in orthopedic and musculoskeletal medical devices is seeking an experienced medical writer to develop manuscripts for peer-reviewed medical journals. You must have strong medical writing experience, with an emphasis on surgical procedures and medical devices.  Experience in the musculoskeletal area is strongly preferred. You must have two or more years of experience in developing peer-reviewed publications, experience with clinical trials methodology, and an understanding of biostatistics, data management, interpretation, and presentation.

You also must have medical device experience and must be knowledgeable in orthopedics and the musculoskeletal system.  Finally, you must be familiar with journal formatting requirements, have the ability to write a compelling story from researched data, and be able to commit to a minimum of 80 hours per month.
