Free Medical Transcription and Coding Training for Military Spouses

This is a great opportunity for spouses of military personnel.  MyCAA (Military Spouse Career Advancement Account) will cover the entire cost of training for a career in medical transcription or medical coding and billing through Career Step.  "Military spouses of active duty and activated Guard and Reserve service members worldwide can receive up to $6,000 of financial assistance to pay for education in high growth, high demand, portable career fields," according to the MyCAA/Career Step site.

I studied medical transcription at Career Step, and I can tell you it is a superior online school.  In fact, I would venture to say it's the best medical transcription school out there.  Medical transcription, in particular, is a great career for military spouses, because it can often be done from home online, wherever you happen to be in the world.  With military transfers, this is of primary importance.
