Work-at-Home Medical Billing Specialist for Proactive Wellness

Proactive Wellness Centers, PLC, a specialty fee-for-service medical practice in McLean, VA, is seeking a telecommuting medical billing specialist to provide coded invoices for patients to submit to insurance companies for out-of-network coverage. You must be experienced with ICD-9 diagnosis codes and the basic CPT codes.

You will deal with patients by email, and will be expected to adhere to an agreed upon schedule for completion of medical bills.  Experience with fee-for-service invoices is preferred, but not required. You will generate 20-30 medically coded invoices per week and deal with occasional correspondence from patients and insurance companies.
