Oreo Cheesecake Bars Recipe


Here's a great recipe for your Fourth of July picnic or barbecue!

Ingredients:

24 Oreo cookies, crushed
2 tbsp. butter, softened
3 8-0z. packages cream cheese, softened
1 14-oz. can Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk
3 eggs, beaten
1 tsp. vanilla extract
2 1-oz. squares semisweet chocolate

Directions:

  • Preheat the oven to 300 degrees and lightly butter a 13 X 9 X 2-inch pan.
  • Combine crushed cookies and butter, then press into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  • Beat cream cheese until fluffy, using a handheld mixer.
  • Gradually add in the Eagle Brand sweetened condensed milk.
  • Finally, add the eggs and vanilla. Mix well.
  • Pour two-thirds of the batter onto the crust.
  • Melt the chocolate and add it to the remaining batter. Spoon this over the top of the first layer.
  • Bake for approximately 45 minutes or until set.
  • Chill. Cut into bars. Store in refrigerator.
Makes 16 to 20 bars.
