Save Money by Swapping Your Old Books

I don't know if I've ever mentioned it here on this blog, but I'm a big reader, and that's BIG with a capital B-I-G.  In fact, at this moment, I have no less than 35 books checked out of my local library, all sitting beside my bed, waiting patiently for me to read them.

But sometimes I can't find the specific book I want at the library.  And I'm too cheap to ever buy a book in hardcover. (I only buy a few paperbacks a year.)  So I was excited to find some book swap sites.  In the U.S., there's BookMooch and PaperbackSwap.  And in the U.K., there's Read It Swap It.

I know with BookMooch, you can also send to other countries.  After joining, you make a list of books you're willing to send out. You earn points when you share your books, and then you can use those points to request books from other members.

And the best part?  You're saving money.  Besides the cost of shipping media mail, it's free.  Check it out!
