Work at Home Moms: How Can You Survive this Financial Crisis?

 
While it's true that there are a great many benefits to working from home, both in terms of availability for your kids and financially (saving on gas, clothing, etc.), work-at-home opportunities often pay less than brick and mortar "real world" jobs.  If you're working as an independent contractor, you are responsible not only for your own health insurance, but also for creating a retirement plan for yourself.
