Got to share. Chocolate and walnuts. Oh my!
Ingredients:
- 1 1/4 cups soft butter
- 2 cups sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 tsp.vanilla
- 2 cups flour
- 3/4 cups unsweetened cocoa
- 1 tsp. baking soda
- 1/2 tsp. salt
- 1/2 (12 oz) bag of chocolate chips
- 1/2 (12 oz) bag of chopped walnuts
Directions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In a food processor or mixer,cream the sugar and butter. Add the eggs and vanilla, mixing until the dough is lumpy. In a separate bowl, combine the flour, cocoa, soda, and salt. Add the egg mixture to the flour mixture, hand stirring until the consistency of a gooey chocolate blob. Add the chips and walnuts, and shape into large balls. Bake on an ungreased cookie sheet for 10 to 11 minutes. DO NOT OVER BAKE. If you do, they will not be chewy. As they cool, the cookies will become firmer. Enjoy!
