What Are You Sacrificing to Pay for Gas?

I think the above cartoon accurately reflects my feelings when I stopped to put $10 worth of gas in my car yesterday, only to get back in and see that the needle had barely moved. And I'm afraid the news is reporting that it's only going to get worse.

I'm doing my best to make enough "side" money to keep me driving around my neighborhood. A few dollars here and there help out. I'm also staying put a lot more; I don't just jump in the car and go. It's got to be compelling.

I'm also trying to spend less on other things - buying less expensive coffee, for instance, using coupons at the grocery store. How about you? As the price of gas goes up, what are you doing or giving up to make driving possible?
